Product Details
The DWDM Mux Demux single fiber bidirectional solution facilitates the use of DWDM channels in both directions over a single simplex singlemode fiber. The primary distinction between single fiber and dual fiber DWDM is that the single fiber necessitates different wavelengths to be transmitted in each direction. For instance, a 4-channel DWDM single fiber system would require 8 distinct wavelength channels – The East (Mux/Tx) to West (Demux/Rx) direction would employ wavelengths of 1560.61, 1558.98, 1557.36, and 1555.75; conversely, the West (Mux/Tx) to East (Demux/Rx) direction would utilize wavelengths of 1559.79, 1558.17, 1556.56, and 1554.94.
